Kayak Anglers are a staple for sure and winter time angling in a kayak is no exception. It takes someone special and determined to go out in a Kayak and fish our big lakes out west. In this episode I found just that person Amanda Brannon. Amanda is the Co-Founder of Woman's Fishing Federation a Team Hobie Pro Staff member and a diehard angler in general.
Amanda and I discuss her favorite baits to fish in the winter. What it's like to fish in the cold months out of a Kayak. Her approach to the fish during the winter months, the structure she targets most this time of year and how she breaks down the water as it gets colder as well as where to look for bass as they transition.
